I have eaten here with my family since they opened in , and it immediately became my favorite restaurant since the first time I tried their food as a kid. The owner and all of the staff over the years have always been incredibly friendly and just absolutely great and we developed a great relationship with everyone who works here. I've been around the world and tried sushi at some of the highest rated and nicest restaurants, yet Sake is always better. I've probably eaten here - times every week since I was and I can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants out there. If you are looking for sushi anywhere in Sonoma County or even the entire Bay Area, Sake is a must try.

This is a fine place for sushi, but it's not great. The scallop, uni, and other nigiri was good quality, but the rolls were pretty bland. Nothing really popped and I'd honestly forgotten I even ate there until prompted by Google for the review. It's good, but temper your expectations if you're expecting a real experience.Kid-friendliness: Probably better options with kids. Seating area is small, so the sound has nowhere to go.

In this cute little area with some street parking. Very friendly staff, for sat down fairly quickly but it did take some time to get service and to put in our orders. It does take some time for the food to come out but the staff is incredibly friendly and constantly checks in with you. We ordered the Tuna Lily, San Rafael Roll, the Grilled Squid, Nigiri Sake Toro - Salmon Belly, and the Nigiri Ikura - Salmon Roe.The Tuna lily was good but just a little too salty for me. Everything else was delicious. I loved the San Rafael Roll but the Grilled Squid and salmon Roe was my favorite. A little pricy but food was great and service was great otherwise. I would definitely recommend! The Blueberry panacotta that we got for dessert was also very good and a nice finish to the dinner.Vegetarian options: The have eggplant, Mushroom and edamame and other vegetable Sushi.
